Over the past several months, each class has been carefully nurturing their precious potato plants as part of our Potato Growing Competition. With great care, the children have watered, watched, and waited, all in the hope of being crowned the 'Potato Champions of 2025'.
Each class harvested and weighed their crops and kept their final weights a closely guarded secret until today's special assembly, where the results were finally revealed.
The Potato Champions of 2025 are.....Year 3!
With an outstanding total harvest of 2,742 grams! They have proudly received the prestigious Golden Mr Potato Head Trophy and their very own Spud Buddy to mark the achievement.

1st - Year 3: 2742g
2nd - Year 5: 2702g
3rd - Year 6: 2417g
4th - Reception Class: 2274g
5th - Year 4: 2087g
6th - Year 2: 2019g
7th - Year 1: 2008g
A massive well done to all classes for their commitment, teamwork, and excellent gardening skills.
The competition has been a fantastic example of hands-on learning, patience, and perseverance.
