EYFS Exploding Monsters!

We have had a very exciting time in EYFS today! As part of British Science week, we created a chemical reaction and made our monsters explode. We mixed bicarbonate of soda with vinegar (and added some food colouring for fun) and watched what happened. We were excited to observe the bubbles form, the bags fill up and then eventually explode! It did make a few of us jump though!
