Year Five had a great time during our First Forest School session of 2022. We created local area sketches, discussed human and physical geographical features all around us, discussed the dew on the grass and the fact that we can see 'The Wreck' from our school field. Lots of us didn't realise that. Later on, we spotted paragliders, birds chirping and the moon made an appearance! In addition to this, we worked in small group to practise and refine our whittling skills, using appropriate safety and handling techniques.
It's great to appreciate the natural world around us. There are amazing things everywhere, when we take the time to look.
