It may have been our final Gardening Club session before the summer holidays, but we certainly didn’t slow down! The garden was a hive of activity as always.

We proudly released the ladybirds we’ve been nurturing from larvae—raising awareness of how different they look in their early stages compared to the familiar adult form. A wonderful learning moment for all involved!

Our new compost tumbler also got its first spin, helping us separate out roots and old foliage to keep our compost fresh and healthy for the next growing season.

And of course, there was a bumper harvest! We gathered a colourful mix of produce, including:

- Red and golden yellow tomatoes

- Courgettes, marrows & patty pan squash

- Two different varieties of peas

- Cucumbers

- And yes—more potatoes!

We even found some spud buddies hiding in the garden!

Well done to all our Gardening Club members for their dedication and hard-work this term. From planting seeds to harvesting crops and caring for wildlife, they’ve made the most of every session and helped the garden thrive.
