Yesterday, year 6 carried out a thematic treasure hunt to help them to guess the themes and make predictions about what might happen in the Shakespeare play, 'Macbeth'. The children hunted for clues to provide them with hints, these included: drums, a Scottish flag, a blood covered dagger, cauldrons, witches and much more. Themes that were discussed included tragedy, betrayal, jealousy, guilt and murder - they stunned me with their ideas and we can't wait to find out what will happen.
