A special assembly given by the school Gardening Club launched our first ever potato growing competition!
Every class throughout the school will be competing against each other, putting their potato growing skills to the test.
This has begun today with the children learning how to prepare their potatoes to give them a head start ready for planting in March.
Classes will have several months to nurture their tubs into an award-winning crop of potatoes.
A trophy and prizes will be awarded to the class that produces the heaviest yield of potatoes.
