Year Two have been counting the birds for the Royal Society for the Protection of Birds. We discussed how we might be able to identify common birds and then the children took an hour to record birds spotted in different parts of the school grounds and field. The evidence will be downloaded to the RSPB and used to make a series of charts. Year Two had to add their own categories to the recording sheet when crows and seagulls appeared!
