Year 2 had a fabulous trip to Blackpool Sealife centre!
We learned all about lots of creatures that live in the oceans including starfish, seahorses and, of course, sharks! We saw Matilda the Moray eel and Phoenix the Green sea turtle, but Dave the nurse shark was resting. We watched the octopus unfurl his long tentacles and were amazed when the rays sailed right over our heads.
After lunch we had a quick trip to St Annes and looked for more sea creatures in their natural environment. Here we found shells, jellyfish and crabs and got to make sandcastles too!
Everyone had an amazing time and didn't want to come home!
