Yesterday, Year 4 attempted (for the second time) to make stars out of willow. When we went up last week, the willow didn't want to bend to help us make stars... However, this week, it did!
We started by watching a video on how to make a 5 pointed star out of willow before heading to the field, gathering our freshly soaked willow and making our first 5 bends. We followed the instructions of Mr Loynds and Mrs Whittaker and we made some fantastic stars for the Christmas tree. We were super glad to have the outdoor classroom because the heavens opened and we retreated to safety!
