Today Year Five discovered how hard it was to be an Emperor Penguin mum or dad trying to take care of their egg! We used our feet (though some of us used our flippers!) to pass the ball 'egg' to our partners. We had to make sure the egg didn't touch the ice as well! The females pass the egg to the male to incubate so that the female can feed. This helped to bring our Non-Chronological report writing to life.
Try it for yourself, can you pass an egg (ball) to a partner?
