In Year 2, we are learning about habitats. We looked at all the different habitats around us and around the world and focused on our own habitat. Today, Year 2 had a great time exploring our local habitat, the playground. The children explored the habitat to find things that are either living, dead or have never been alive. The children worked together in teams to identify what they could see around them. Year 2 were fantastic in creating a table to sort the different things they observed into the right columns. Year 2 observed and identified so many different things around them such as, monkey bars, benches, chains and even sheep.
