Year Three had an absolutely fantastic time on Tuesday when they travelled back in time and became cave people for the day! They made dens out of natural materials, went foraging for food, used flint and steel to make a fire and cooked bread over it. They enjoyed being hunters in the afternoon where they practised their archery skills on pictures of wild boar, deer and wolves. The children learnt a great deal about the Stone age and they are now excited to start their history topic.
