Year 6 have had a very exciting day today. It began with a visit from Sarah Cockburn-Price, our borough councillor. Year 6 learnt about the Colne Youth Action Group and the work that is being done to engage young people in the local area – providing them with engaging activities in the evenings. This afternoon, we have been making dragon collages out of the natural materials we collected on Wednesday during forest school. We used leaves, berries and seeds to create scales, wings, eyes and tails.
