As part of Forest School yesterday, Years 1 and 2 joined forces and decided to make the largest dragon we could! We started working together by gathering as many different resources as we could. Some items were so heavy that they took children from both classes to safely carry them! Once we had gathered all of the resources we needed, we started to make our very own dragon... We had to discuss a lot because we had so many ideas.
We decided to use the mini trees for the back and tail as they are spiky, just like a dragon should be. We used tyres to make legs and eyes, made sure the dragon had a mouth and used lots of wood to fill the body. Some children realised that dragons have scales, so we ripped up loose bark to make it extra scaly!
