This week, year 3 have been learning all about democracy and what it means to have your voice heard when important decisions are being made.
The children discussed what being a good leader meant to them and worked extremely hard writing speeches that they could deliver to their classmates to explain why they would be great for the roles of School Councillor and Eco Warrior. Our enthusiastic candidates delivered their speeches with confidence and came up with some incredible ideas for how we can make the school an even better place. Finally, we transformed our classroom into a voting station and the class all cast their votes which were then collected and sent to be counted.
We can't wait to find out who our new Year 3 representatives will be!
