The Very Hungry Caterpillar has arrived in our school garden!

We discovered this enormous caterpillar happily munching its way through lots and lots of green leaves - and we managed to capture it in action!

Just look at it go!

After a little detective work, we think our very hungry visitor might be an Eyed Hawk-moth caterpillar. What an exciting discovery!

Our school garden is always full of surprises, and you never quite know who might be hiding amongst the leaves.

We’ll be keeping an eye out for our caterpillar and hoping we get to see what happens next…
