In EYFS, we have had a rather busy end to the week. Our youngest super learners demonstrated incredible physical and mathematical skills. In PE, the children developed their gross motor movements by travelling like crabs, jumping like starfish, and mastering the fundamentals of balancing, throwing, and jumping. The learning continued inside the classroom during Maths, where children combined different amounts to find totals. Using key vocabulary like "more", "makes", "altogether", and "how much?", the pupils demonstrated a fantastic grasp of early addition, with some even confidently creating their own written number sentences. Some children have also been practising their independent writing in continuous provision! Well done EYFS!
