Year 1 have had a very creative day today.
This morning as part of our English unit on instructions we followed a set of instructions to create our own 'Grasshead' people. The children have taken them home and can't wait for their characters 'hair' to grow!
Then in Forest School this afternoon we were using our teamwork skills to make homes for elves and fairies. The children did a great job of using the natural resources to design and make some lovely homes. Some had gardens with trees, one had a seesaw and another even had a swing!
