This morning, the Year 3 class from St John's Primary School came all the way from Blackpool to visit our school!

They are learning about Trawden as part of their geography topic and wanted to come and explore the local area. As part of their trip to the village, they spent the morning with our year 3 class to help them understand what it is like to live in Trawden.

The children worked brilliantly together, asking and answering questions about the different schools, sharing photographs and talking about their outdoor spaces. It was wonderful to see how well the children interacted with each other and how enthusiastic our pupils were to talk about our Forest School and garden. After exploring our Forest School field, the children worked together to produce nature sketches of the landscape and the results were fabulous.

The children had a fantastic time and are very excited to keep in touch with their new friends!
