Book Week and World Book Day
This week we enjoyed celebrating Book Week and World Book Day at school. The children had lots of opportunities to share stories, talk about their favourite books and celebrate their love of reading.
They came to school today in amazing costumes!
As part of the celebrations, we invited parents and carers into school for a lovely afternoon of reading and craft activities. It was wonderful to see families spending time together sharing books and enjoying stories.
The children also took part in a range of creative activities, including making masks, headbands and bookmarks inspired by different book characters. There were also fun book quizzes which everyone enjoyed taking part in.
Thank you to all the parents and carers who joined us and helped make the afternoon so special.
