What a busy and productive session it was at Gardening Club this evening! We split into two groups — one headed to the compost area to empty the snack waste bins and plant 100 Narcissus tete-a-tete bulbs in our entrance planter, ready to bring a burst of cheerful colour this spring.
Meanwhile, the other group was hard at work continuing a very special project that began last week — we can’t wait to share more about it soon!
We all came back together at the end of the session to celebrate our incredible gardening achievements with jelly, shortbread biscuits, and a very special homemade treat — delicious ice cream made from our very own polytunnel-grown peaches! It was absolutely scrumptious and the perfect way to end a wonderful session.
