Year 6 have been busy working scientifically as they planned and carried out their own yeast experiments. The pupils investigated what factors affect yeast growth, carefully deciding which variables to keep the same and which to change. They identified their independent, dependent, and controlled variables, showing great understanding of fair testing. It was fantastic to see their curiosity and teamwork in action as they observed, measured, and discussed their results like real scientists!
