Last week we were down in Brighton for the RHS National Awards, and this week it was a little closer to home for the RHS Northwest Regional Awards Ceremony in Bolton — and what a day it was!
We were absolutely thrilled to receive these incredible awards, including:
The Trevor Leese Award for the Best School (named after the founder of Britain in Bloom and presented to one exceptional school each year)
The Northwest Regional Award for Gardening with Young People
An Award in the Schools Category
An Award for Outstanding Contribution, presented to Mrs Nelson
The Young Bloomers Award, presented to last year's Head Gardener, Sophia
We are so proud and truly humbled by this incredible recognition, but what makes us truly proud are our young gardeners — it’s their hard work, enthusiasm, and dedication that make our school garden what it is. Every award is a celebration of their efforts, teamwork, and the joy they bring to growing, learning, and caring for our garden.
