Disaster struck Year 4 this week when the class returned from playtime to find their room overrun by more than thirty rats!

Armed with courage (and sharp eyes!), our brave rat catchers searched everywhere — under tables, behind cupboards, even in the blinds. But no matter how hard they looked, some rats were still on the loose!

Just like the people of Hamelin, the class realised they needed help. Then came a mysterious letter — from the Pied Piper himself! He claimed he could rid the town of rats… but at what cost?

Stepping into the role of the Mayor, the children wrote urgent town notices, asking: Should we trust the Piper, even though we don’t know his price?

The adventure in Hamelin has only just begun!
