At the end of last week, our amazing Gardening Team travelled down to Brighton for the RHS Britain in Bloom National Awards, where we proudly represented our region as one of the nominees in the Gardening with Young People category. The competition brought together finalists from 17 regions across the UK — spanning England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, and the Channel Islands.

We are absolutely thrilled to share that Trawden Forest Primary School were crowned the overall winners in the Community Awards – Gardening with Young People category!

The 17 Britain in Bloom regions each nominate their highest-performing entries to compete in these prestigious RHS-run UK finals, so this is an incredible achievement for our young gardeners and our whole school community.

A huge thank you to everyone who supports our gardening journey — our pupils, staff, families, and local community. You’ve all helped us grow this success together!
