This week, year 3 took their English topic of 'Paddington' to Forest School!

The children worked in pairs exploring the field to try and find objects in nature that matched different aspects of Paddington Bear; his bright red hat, his soft fur and even his shiny nose. They worked brilliantly in their teams, working hard and thinking outside the box to find a variety of objects they could use.

They then brought all of their wonderful findings and creative ideas back to the classroom, using them as inspiration for a character description of Paddington Bear. The descriptions they produced were fantastic and filled with some really creative similes.
