Roald Dahl day was lots of fun in Year 1.
We read The Enormous Crocodile and learned all about his secret plans and clever tricks. He wasn't a very nice creature and we were all quite relieved when he was whizzed to the sun and sizzled like a sausage!
The children retold the story using props and did some amazing writing about his clever tricks. They also went crocodile crazy making textured crocodiles, paper chain crocodiles and crocodile spinners!
Crocodiles everywhere!
