Last month, Reception Class harvested a pumpkin from a plant that the previous Reception Class children had grown from seed. This was a successful result from their 'Pumpkin Jack' experiment!
We used this very special pumpkin to create our own Halloween lantern to decorate the classroom.
After reading the book, 'Pumpkin Jack', we all wanted to carry out the experiment again to learn about lifecycles and investigate decomposition as we watch the new 'Pumpkin Jack' decompose.
