What a first day back!
Year 1 were surprised, shocked and a little frightened when they came back into class from playtime this morning. Mrs Alcock was not there and in her place was someone they had never seen before. He said his name was Mr Wolf and he was just filling in for Mrs Alcock. He was a little scary and very bossy.
The children were not impressed!
They asked him some questions and he told them he lived in the deep, dark woods and liked to eat children - especially naughty children who ate lots of sweets as that makes them more delicious!
He particularly liked Wren because of her red hair - red is his favourite colour.
When Mrs Alcock came in she was shocked because she had never heard of Mr Wolf. She asked the children what he was like and they collected lots of words to describe him.
They created character portraits, complete with pictures to give to Mrs Stinchon so she could keep an eye out for him in future.
