What a fantastic Friday we had in Year 4! We were delighted to welcome Annette and Hannah from Handmade Productions, who guided us through the creative process of lantern-making!
The creations began with crafting frames from willow. After that, the class got hands-on with watered down PVA to attach plain paper sides. The children really let their imaginations run wild as they added the finishing touches – vibrant red, orange, and yellow strips creating a stunning flame effect!
These magnificent lanterns will be carried during in the Winter in Bloom Parade on Saturday, 15th February. Don't forget, you will need to collect these from Lord Street Primary School, before the parade kicks off!
