On Friday, some of our Year 2 children ventured out to the Leisure Box for a football skills event. Initially, some of the children were apprehensive about stepping onto the football pitch and kicking a ball, but by the end of the session, they didn’t want to leave! They practiced different skills with the ball, beat some defenders, and even had a mini match at the end. Mr. Trickett and Miss Crocombe were so pleased with the children’s behaviour and resilience, and they were incredibly proud of them all.
