Year 4 Christmas Light-Up Boxes

We're thrilled to share what our amazing Year 4 students have been up to over the last couple of days! They've been busy designing, creating, and evaluating their very own Christmas Light-up Boxes using their scientific knowledge of circuits and electricity.
From drafting a product brief to researching existing products, these enthusiastic scientists have truly outdone themselves.

They planned and designed their light-up boxes, carefully considering how to build effective circuits before diving into the exciting making phase! With a little creativity and a whole lot of teamwork, they gathered all the necessary components: batteries, wires, bulbs (and yes, a generous amount of sellotape!)
