Our EYFS and KS1 children have really made us proud this week.
They have all worked so hard to learn lines, songs and dances for our Nativity performances and this week they really excelled themselves when performing for audiences.
From the grumpy caretaker who hates the mess to the lastminute.com travellers and the out of control sheep there was a lot to laugh at.
Mary and Joseph were not put off by dozens of innkeepers singing "We've got no room" and we were all inspired by the golden star that even the wise men had never seen the like of before. A host of glittering angels singing and dancing brought a tear to a glass eye and the audience found it hard not to join in with the party finale.
As we pack away the camels and donkey for another year we hope we managed to bring a little Christmas cheer into the hearts of all those who were able to join us. Well done everyone!
