Get ready to be dazzled by our talented Year 4 children and their incredible DT project!
This week, our amazing Year 4 children took their creativity to the next level with their Christmas Light-Up Boxes project. They've been working tirelessly to design, make and evaluate their very own festive creations.
Combining their artistic flair with scientific know-how, the children put their thinking caps on to devise a working circuit that powers a beautiful LED bulb. They've learned how to strip copper wires, created ingenious switches using split pins and paperclips, and went to town with copious amounts of selotape to secure everything together. It's been a true test of their engineering skills!
However, not every creation survived the rigorous testing. Some boxes lost their sparkle and no longer light up, but that's all part of the learning process.
We're incredibly proud of our Year 4 childrens' efforts and determination. Their final products are truly a sight to behold!
