The Way of Water

This week the children in Year 1 have been combining their sketching with paints.

First we practised continuous drawing in our own sketchbooks.

Then we sketched a natural object using water soluble pens, trying to add in all the detail we could see.

Finally, we introduced watercolours and added 2 colours to our sketch.

We definitely have some aspiring artists in Year 1!
