Autumn Days...

In English, we are going to write a poem about autumn so we watched a video clip of many autumnal images and events. We then discussed many alternative words for different shades of brown, yellow and red such as maroon, flame, salmon, coffee, chocolate, cherry and burnt orange. Following this, we examined some colour swatches and recreated autumn colours in paint. Year 3 did a fantastic job organising themselves and were great artistic inventors!
