Butterflies!

We had a very exciting day today. We retuned back to school to find that the butterflies had hatched over the Easter holidays! We all observed them and talked about how they had changed. We then took them outside into the garden to release them. However, we had obviously made too good a home for them as they did not want to leave! We watched as they flapped their wings and eventually started to fly.
