The first coding club lesson using micro:bits was super fun! The children were introduced to micro:bits and shown how these could be programmed to complete a range to tasks. They couldn't wait to get stuck in and practise their coding skills! They used Microsoft MakeCode which is a similar program to Scratch a 'block building' programming language. There were a few teething issues when following the tutorials, but luckily, Jamie was an expert as he already had a micro:bit at home and was a star at helping other children.
I wonder what they will progam next week?
