Today in Geography, Year 2 used atlases to find Zambia and we used Google Earth to 'fly' there. We discussed which seas and oceans we would need to cross and how long it would take us to get there in real life. We looked at a tiny village in Zambia called Mugurameno and compared their population, river use and homes to ours here in Trawden. The children couldn't believe that they use the Zambezi river to wash their clothes!
