What a wonderful day we've had in Year 5 today for Greek Day! We've learned so much about the legacy of the Ancient Greek civilisation today, from creating maps, reading myths, the birth of democracy to testing Greek salad ingredients (and buns made with honey made by Mrs Whitaker - ssshhh!) and the all-girls team being triumphant at our relay race outside. That redressed a little of the balance of power within Ancient Greece's election of assembly members and voting rules! Here's a taster of what we got up to.
