Today, Year 4 and Year 2 joined together on the field to create their own dens. They had a great time learning what worked (and what didn't) when erecting their structures and they thought how they could make improvements to their designs. We had some very interesting discussion about bark on trees as well as signs of spring and what a mallet is. In our discussions, we talked about what a mallet was useful for. Both year groups worked brilliantly together especially when tidying up at the end.
