Well, we did it!
The weather was with us this week as Year 5 went on their Coldwell residential trip. Despite nerves and fears, they all came, saw and conquered their first trip away within school. We enjoyed two action packed days full of team challenges, archery, fire creating, bread making, shelter building, a movie night (with hot chocolate and treats!) laser tag, using the outdoor gym and so much more. The children were a credit to themselves, their parents and carers and the school. The Coldwell staff commented on how kind, polite and helpful you were throughout our stay. We've now got so many fun memories of our trip, and have loved looking at our photos today. Take us back! A few good night's sleep are in need this weekend!
A big thank you to all of the Coldwell staff - Claire, Joanne, Glen and Tracey - after fifteen months we were their first group back and they looked after us all so well. A massive thank you also to Outdoor Elements and to the Laser Tag team for providing such exciting activities and giving the children wonderful memories.
A huge well done to Year 5 from Mrs Grimshaw, Mrs Stansfield, Miss Gallagher, Mr Irvine and Mrs Dixon.
