There is some amazing artistic talent in Year 4. Today, we had an art day. We continue looking at the works of Gaudi and began by practising some running stitch in preparation for creating a piece of sewing. Following this, we made a template and used this to cut a salamander out from felt. We will then sew it together next week. This afternoon, we made clay sculptures using the environment around us as our inspiration. I'm sure you'll agree they look fantastic and some children have been particularly intricate in their designs. What a super end to the day! How imaginative the children are! Well done, Year 4!
