Today, Year 2 were all able to plant 2 sunflower seeds each as part of our Science topic about plants. We are hoping to watch them grow, so we can observe part of their life cycle, before taking them home at the end of the year.
We had a brilliant time getting muddy to fill the pots with compost and add the sunflower seeds.
We have started learning about the right conditions for plants to grow and created a log to see how much they grow each week.
We hope that by next week, we will see some germination for it to start growing.
