Today, as part of our Geography lesson, our brilliant school cook Jayne showed us how to make delicious British inspired cupcakes! We learnt the best way to cream the butter and sugar, this was Mr Loynds's favourite part as you can tell by the photo of him wearing an apron and hair net. We learnt how to whisk eggs the professional way (with a fork) and a very useful trick to stop it from curdling which is to add the eggs a little bit at a time. Once these were all baked, we returned to ice them. Finally we returned to class with our cupcakes to either eat straight away (which most of us did) or to take home.
