Year 2 had a very exciting visitor yesterday! Mike Bedford, a cave explorer came to visit our class to talk all about his experiences exploring caves all over the world! We learnt about how he feels when he's exploring, the safety equipment he needs to stay safe, where he sleeps at night and one of our favourite parts was discovering what he eats (and trying some). It is safe to say, that we all love Kendal Mint Cake! One child was also able to try on Mike's caving equipment and explore KS1's dark resources room... Luckily, the flashlight was working to help them see.
