Pupils of Year 6, enjoyed being evacuated for a day as part of their topic on WW2. The children visited the Bury Transport Museum and Art Gallery before taking a scenic journey on a Steam Train to Rossendale. Once there, they were met by a 'billeting officer' who allocated them to a host. The children enjoyed the experience and learned alot about evacuation and the war.
