🐻 Fudge the teddy is going to stay warm and dry tonight, thanks to Year 4! 🪵🍂

Our fantastic Year 4 had a brilliant session at Forest School today, taking on the challenge of building mini shelters for their class teddy, Fudge.

The children showed incredible effort and perseverance, working hard to gather materials and solve problems when their structures started to wobble. Before building, we discussed the best features of a sturdy shelter -

like being windproof, waterproof, and well-insulated.

They hunted for the most suitable materials and chose:

  • Strong sticks for the main foundations
  • Thick moss and dry leaves for insulation

Fudge has officially tested them all and given them a massive thumbs up! 👍 High fives all around to Year 4 for their amazing teamwork and determination today.
