Year 4 began their new English unit with an exciting investigation into the mystery of the Loch Ness Monster.
Working in teams, the children examined photographs, eyewitness reports, footprints and sonar evidence before deciding whether they thought Nessie could really exist.
They then used the clues and their imaginations to create their own versions of Nessie, from friendly creatures to mysterious monsters lurking beneath the water.
This investigation has given Year 4 lots of ideas and descriptive vocabulary ready for their upcoming writing about the Loch Ness Monster.
