Our EYFS children have had a fabulous first school trip! We went to Thornton Hall Farm and had the most amazing day from start to finish. The children were full of excitement as we travelled there and couldn’t wait to explore.
We enjoyed an exciting safari ride where we saw lots of different animals up close. Throughout the day, the children loved feeding and petting many friendly animals, including lambs, calves, llamas, goats, pigs, chickens and many more. They were so gentle and caring, and it was wonderful to see their confidence grow as they interacted with the animals.
We also enjoyed a yummy lunch together, followed by a special ice cream treat! To finish our fantastic day, the children had lots of fun climbing, sliding and playing in the soft play area with their friends.
The children were wonderfully behaved all day and represented our school beautifully. We are so proud of them all. What a memorable first trip for everyone!
